Well Bob you missed it again, how much more do we believe.

As far as I can tell Bob Brinker missed it by a couple of months.

Now this isn’t a bad thing unless you lost money behind it and if you did you must not have been paying attention to the real estate market or doing your home work on what stocks were doing.

I said in the first review of Bob Brinker,

“Do not just arbitrarily throw your money into the market just because some guy has you thinking that they know what they are talking about.”

This is what Mike from Oregon has to say about Bob Brinker,

mike from Oregon, USA 2008-10-05 I have been a MT subscriber for about 6 years. Bob correctly called the end of the dot com boom in january 2000, and told everyone to sell all holdings. consequelty, I rode out the three year stock sllide in cash, and He called it to the day in March 2003, the liftoff of the market that lasted until October 2007. Bob did not forsee the dire implications of this current crisis, he seems to have called the end several times in his letter, and had subscribers buying all the way into September. time will tell if this bear market closes out his favorable ratings. To be fair, this bear market has been unpredictable for many professional investors. Good luck to us all.

Well Mike from Oregon with Bob Brinker “calling the end of the .coms” and “the lift off of the market in March 03″ I guess, in your opinion he’s not doing too bad. Or as a song title by Meatloaf said “Two Out Of Three Ain’t Bad.” And it’s not, unless you lost your ass on the one he missed, the third one.

Bob Brinker yet another self-promoting market guru. These guys are pronouncing doom and gloom or everything is rosy. Whatever it takes to sell them and remove money from your wallet. Just because a guy is on the radio does not mean he is going to make you money.

Bob Brinker’s main program is a radio financial program called Money Talk where listeners can call in on the 800# with questions or comments that will be aired on the show. Topics covered are generally stock market and investment portfolio centered Bob Brinker also has a monthly newsletter called Marketimer covering issues like the good and the bad times to be making moves in the stock market with your portfolio.

A one year subscription to the newsletter is going for $185.00 He does offer one back issue to be mailed to you for free.

You can also hear Marketimer over the internet for a monthly fee of around $5.00.

Bob Brinker also sells hats, t-shirts and coffee mugs, on his website, which are used to promote his show “Bob Brinker’s Marketimer”

Now if you have some of your own money that you don’t know what to do with give Bob Brinker a call. I’m sure he would be willing to offer you some advice and put it on his show. Whether the advice is worth anything is up to you to decide

If you want to invest, learn to do it on your own and study, study, study and then study some more. Then paper trade until you have proven to yourself that you can make money. Do not just arbitrarily throw your money into the market just because some guy has you thinking that they know what they are talking about.

You can learn from Bob Brinker but it is your money and only you care enough about it to make sure you do not lose any.

I would not recommend Bob Brinker’s recommendations unless you have paper traded and proven to yourself that his advice can make you money.

I do recommend him from a learning point of view, because when it comes to the markets, knowledge is power.

Big Ticket To Wealth Trainer Teaches About Forum Marketing

Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008

Big Ticket To Wealth is indeed a good break for even novices who want to test their marketing skills, and hope to make some moolah online. Once a person decides to jump on the bandwagon, his job is to drive traffic to his site. He can use many methods to increase traffic and video is a good choice. Forum marketing can also be quite effective though one should look out for pitfalls and carefully avoid them.

The contacts that a person can get through online forums help substantially in creating traffic to his website. There are different opinions about how much these forums can help. However, in the case of Big Ticket To Wealth, forum marketing appears a viable option, though the marketer should stick to the following rules to get the maximum benefit.

Ferret out a site, the contents of which are pertinent to what you are doing. The site should have significant traffic as well.

Neglecting the forum rules could cost a person heavily. So make sure that it is read in detail.

Take the extra time to set up your profile. Include a picture and some information about you.

Create a signature line that links to your landing page. The signature line should create curiosity, this will draw more clicks. For example, “My neighbor thought I was laid off, Boy Was He Surprised When I Told Him I Quit My Job

Spend as much time as possible to go through the forum posts, especially those which stand out.

When you know the correct answer to a forum member’s query, take time off to answer it.

Be concise and to the point with your answer.

A forum is for sharing ideas and not promoting one’s own commercial interests. That should be kept in mind.

Take part in the discussions at the forum. That is the best way to make one’s presence felt at the forum.

Be consistent post and reply everyday make it apart of your routine.

Create a separate landing page that only people from the forum will land on. This will help you measure, monitor adjust and control your results.

Finally, HAVE FUN! Life is short, enjoy your time online with other people. Before you know it you will have traffic hitting your Big Ticket To Wealth Website, some will convert to sales and you are in business making money online.

How To Decide Between Or Paid Online Advertising

Monday, December 1st, 2008

You understand that advertising is the key to building a successful online business so you are light years ahead of many of your competitors. Most of your time should be spent (I’d say up to seventy percent) promoting and marketing your business. In the paragraphs that follow, we’ll be looking at which type of advertising is better for you.

Just so that we are clear, I don’t believe in free advertising. It’s not that you can’t advertise your business without pulling out your credit card but you can’t advertise without paying a price. It’s either time or money and ultimately both have a price you’ll have to pay.

Now that you understand that there is no free lunch you must make careful decisions as to how you will either spend you time or your money. The first question is how much is your time worth. The next question is how comfortable are you with doing certain things on your own.

There are upsides and downsides to any form of advertising that you do which is why your main focus should be on effectiveness. By this I mean it must work and produce the desired result. Advertising for advertising sake is a recipe for disaster and will leave you burned out and broke.

The advantages of manual (free) advertising based on my experience is it allows you to test your marketing strategies without losing your shirt. There are also many free advertising sources that provide a long term effect like article and video marketing. When considering free methods I would strongly recommend opportunities that are leveraged and provide long term benefits like viral or search engine marketing.

When it comes to paid advertising you can definitely benefit there as well. The ability to consult with marketing companies that will run your campaigns will give you a broader view of the marketplace based on their experience. It also saves you a good amount of time which allows you to reap returns in other areas of your business too.

Now regardless which way you decide to go I recommend you set up tracking systems so you can test your results. Not knowing what’s working and why it’s working is one of the worst positions you can be in as a marketer. When you understand the source of your results you can make wiser decisions with both your time and money.

Your time and budget will ultimately determine which advertising methods are best for you. I suggest trying a few methods that interest you and use them until you feel comfortable and somewhat proficient. Don’t try to do a little bit of everything as this does not work. Pick something, stick to it and then move to another method while tracking your results throughout.
